Zombies that Move Slowly Are not That Dangerous.

It wasn't just zombies that were bad during the "zombie apocalypse." They were just slow. They were so slow that a baby could crawl faster than them.

Not at all. The worst part was all the crazy people who thought this was the end of the world. Their plan was to kill anyone they thought had germs. A lot of people weren't, though.

That's how my father died. He had a brain attack. His legs were so weak that he could barely move. The zombie guard saw him and shot him. Without a doubt. My dad would still be living if they had just called an ambulance.

It hurt my mother the most. When she got home, he was standing there in the driveway like that. After that, she was pretty much paralysed for weeks.

Our front door was being bumped on by a zombie, and she didn't even realise she spoke up. It was too late when I heard the screams. It was possible for me to kill the zombie, but she was bit.

I know it was a bad idea. But my dad had died recently. I didn't wish to lose my mum too. She was locked in our basement.

I would watch the news for weeks and pray that the government would find a fix.

Months went by. There were almost no zombies left in the country. There would be more waves. The zombies would be wiped out. That went on for months.

After that, my prayers came true. A TV message from the government said there was a fix! They had set up a hospital!
