I always appreciate reading posts from other people that explain how things work in certain places. In a library, don't bother the girl in the bright jacket who is reading a collection of poems to herself until midnight. At this spot, you should be nice and give some of your food to the strangers who come to your campfire. When you hear bells, you shouldn't look out the window of this old house.

There are rules that apply to certain places. It could be because they are old, unique, evil, cursed, or just really beautiful places where other things want to live. Spirits are small and different, but sometimes you can learn something from reading other people's lists and hard-won knowledge of what is and isn't safe. One will cut off your tongue if you talk to it, and another will kill you for being rude if you don't. Anyone who knows a lot about the subject would know.

That's not at all like where I live. I live in an old part of Mayland. My flat doesn't have anything scary or old about it. In fact, it's probably one of the city's least mysterious spots. It's okay.

Folks in cities don't always have guards like people in the country do. There are owners, guards, and guardians for forests, lakes, rivers, and even big farms. These roles are often passed down from generation to generation or carefully chosen by teachers. It's fun to talk to people from those wild places. I really admire the people who take care of woods, lakes, and mountains and work as park guards or owners. How much they care…
