My little sister woke up today without her eyes.

All of the tests were normal, except for the x-ray of her head that didn't show her eye holes. The doctors couldn't say anything.

Chris slowly got used to her new life. She didn't go to school today. In fact, she was always weird before this happened. She is 10 years old, but she could only say two words at a time. "Micheal, Hungry." She never showed how she felt. After that, I thought she would stop drawing flowers on everything. They only became more wavy.

She drew something different one day. Not any more flowers, just "eyes." There are eyes on tables, walls, and everything else. It got old to clean them every day. Chris threw a fit every time her mum tried to make her draw on paper only.

She talked about what those eyes saw. As I thought.

She started to say it again. "Mom, fell." At first, I didn't get it. Then she got a lot of attention, mostly on the stairs. "Mom, fell." After a few weeks, Mom fell down those same stairs.

I had to take care of Chris by myself since Mom is in the hospital. I took all of her art stuff. Every day her mood got worse. As I walked into the living room one day after school, I saw eyes made of ketchup. Worst of all, she started mumbling things that your own family shouldn't be saying. "Micheal, dead."

This girl was getting to be too much for me. I was going to wait until Mom got back. I'll let her say whatever she wants right now.
