There's so many articles out there about it, how to spot it, what signs to look out for, ‘Is he working too much or too little?’, crappy episodes on daytime TV with some dumb girl crying as it all comes out. These articles, shows, and dramas are for weaker women.
I know the moment my husband tells me he doesn't love me anymore. It'll start small, he'll smile more for no reason, he'll laugh at little things he says or does, things he'd never laugh at if you said them, and it'll only get worse. When he sees her, his face lights up like a sun, and he'll see her - you can't stop it. She's everywhere in his life, like a cancer, or a leech. She sucks all the attention and love out of you.
And then, worse than that, his friends or your friends will find out. They will tell you that they have never seen him like this, that he is so happy, that it makes you sick to your stomach. And then, finally, he will tell you that he has never felt such love in his life, that he does not know how he could live without her.
Thank goodness she is still small. I wouldn't be able to drown her so easily if she was walking. Well, of course I had to do something. I love him. I am not going to let some little girl steal him! What kind of a woman would I be?
