I am a Babysitter, Please Don’t Trust Rich People
It's just been about six months since I started babysitting. Making money in this method was simple and didn't need any special abilities on my part. After a sluggish start, I finally won the jackpot a few months back when a wealthy couple from my town requested me to watch their two children on a Friday night. They hired me two hundred dollars to watch their five-bedroom mansion for three hours, and I had perfectly behaved children. Incredibly cool.
News of the kind young woman who offered to watch their kids so their wealthy neighbors could go out drinking and having fun went fast across the posh neighborhood, so the young couple must have believed I had done a wonderful job, too. In addition, I am not exaggerating when I claim that this area is among the wealthiest in our state. The majority of the residents are young couples descended from affluent backgrounds.
On occasion, I'll earn a few hundred dollars by babysitting for a few hours. Sometimes the parents would rather go away from their children for a night, so they ask me to remain with them while they obtain a hotel room. The majority of my income comes from it.
Just a few days ago, I received a text message from a couple asking if I could spend the night at their
mansion and babysit their seven-year-old daughter. Happily, I consented...
I wish I had been more prepared.
