A YouTube ad I saw made me feel bad. Does anyone else see it?
Every day after work, I do the same thing. I put my feet up, open a cold can of Diet Coke, and watch funny videos on YouTube for an hour or two. I always mean to get something done, like make dinner, go for a run, or work on my drawings, but I never do. I can't do anything else because I'm always too tired from work.
I don't believe people were made to work eight hours a day. They were in the same room, at the same desk, and in front of the same computer. I believe we have to accept this as normal because it was set that way by greedy CEOs. But I'm getting off track...
You only need to know that tonight was the same as every other night. I opened the can. Raise my feet. I turned on my laptop.
I watched a funny YouTube movie about how silly Friday is.
Then I stopped moving.
I thought an ad would show up. Instead, there was a message in big white letters on top of the black background where the video should play.
